DELPHINUS, in partnership with MASCARÓN DE PROA, is very happy to bring you this wonderful experience for the first time in this fantastic location: BE FREE GUATAPÉ, an AIDA-certified freediving camp. During this experience you will not only have the chance to take your standard course; we want to take the freediving experience further: meditation, relaxation, breathing, academic content, healthy food and yoga, among others, will be the magical components of this experience, which aims to show you freediving as a whole lifestyle, suitable for anyone (no previous diving or freediving experience required).
Accommodation, meals, private parking and AIDA certification will be included.

RECONNECT WITH YOUR OWN SELF AND REDEFINE YOUR LIMITS…BE FREE 

A unique opportunity, a life experience in which we take the practice of freediving further. We will spend full days dedicated exclusively to redefining limits in every aspect (physical and mental), with special emphasis on the depth disciplines of the sport. For those who are just starting, this is a chance to experience freediving as something more: a lifestyle that gives you an authentic connection with the aquatic environment like you have never had before, and you need no previous experience of any kind. For those with experience, here you will find tools to improve the skills you already have and push yourself further: FREE IMMERSION, CONSTANT WEIGHT (FINS) and CONSTANT WEIGHT NO FINS, deep equalization, relaxation and technique; choose your favorite and we will develop it together. Learn a quality education system designed specifically for freediving, and discover how easily this sport can become a lifestyle: healthy food, stretching and meditation in the mornings, ending the day with nights of laughter, new friends, music… And of course the unique experience of freediving in Guatapé. On this trip you can also earn your international Freediver certification with AIDA.

GOAL:

BE FREE is a concept of workshops in different locations (Santa Marta, Bogotá, Cartagena, etc.) that seeks to share freediving not only as a sport or a recreational activity, but as a lifestyle and a way to gain WELLBEING and HEALTH that suits anyone willing to be part of it, regardless of age or condition; in fact, the range of people able to practice this sport is one of the widest of all. This camp in particular will be an open space for practice and for sharing knowledge, techniques and experience around freediving. Its main goal is to allow participants to express their full underwater potential, acquiring tools suited to each level that will make their practice more enjoyable and safe. From sunrise to sunset, everything will be freediving.

DAY ONE
2:00pm: Meeting and welcome in Guatapé
4:00pm: Workshops begin
6:00pm: Breathing and meditation
7:30pm: Dinner

DAY TWO
6:30am: Meditation, breathing and visualization
8:00am: Departure for training at the reservoir
10:30am: Return
1:00pm: Lunch - free time
7:00pm: Workshops
8:00pm: Dinner

DAY THREE
6:30am: Meditation, breathing and visualization
8:00am: Departure for training at the reservoir
10:30am: Return
1:00pm: Lunch – free time
5:30pm: Closing.

LOCATION: GUATAPÉ (VENUE DETAILS WILL BE SHARED ONCE ATTENDANCE IS CONFIRMED)

CAMP PRICE: $1,570,000.00 COP PER PERSON

INCLUDES: ACCOMMODATION, MEALS, ACTIVITIES, AIDA LEVEL 1 OR 2 CERTIFICATION DEPENDING ON PERFORMANCE.

You can book your spot with 50% of the camp price. Please note that once made, this payment is non-refundable. You may transfer your spot to a friend or family member if you cancel. If you pay the full camp price before January 26 and then cancel, 50% of the payment will be refunded.

DEADLINE FOR FULL PAYMENT: January 26 

CANCELLATION: Between 15 and 1 days before the trip date: 100% of the amount paid (no refund)
