The Colombian Pacific is a lush region overflowing with life and unique natural treasures. Both on land and at sea it offers wonders we should all experience, and of course here you will discover much more of its underwater treasures. This experience is built around a fascinating natural event: the migration of the “agallona” sardine, followed by multiple ocean predators, most notably the majestic WHALE SHARK. During the month of May, this natural spectacle allows an incredible interaction with nature, especially with this creature, which usually swims calmly and unbothered while feeding on schools of fish, allowing direct observation and an unmatched life experience. The intention is to carry out our freediving sessions during these dates and have the opportunity to observe them under responsible and safe measures, prioritizing respect for the environment and the ecosystem. At the end of the camp we will close with a turtle release, an activity we have supported since the start of this project in 2022 together with the local CAGUAMA foundation. GOAL: BE FREE is a concept of courses and workshops in different locations around our country that seeks to share freediving not only as a sport or a recreational activity, but as a lifestyle that suits anyone willing to be part of it, regardless of age or condition; in fact, the range of people able to practice freediving is one of the widest of any sport. This camp in particular will be an open space for practice and for sharing knowledge, techniques and experience around freediving. Its main goal is to allow beginner, intermediate and advanced participants to express their full underwater potential, acquiring tools suited to each level that will make their practice more enjoyable and safe.

We recommend arriving in Bahía Solano for the start of your chosen date (May 22 or earlier) and booking your departure for the day after our last activity (May 26 onwards). Most flights arrive in Bahía Solano between the morning and midday, so you will be on time for the first day's activities even if you fly the same day. Likewise, we recommend scheduling your departure one day after our program ends. Also keep in mind that all flights in the country to this paradise depart only from Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH), located in the center of Medellín. If you are coming from another city, make sure you plan for this and avoid delays: if you fly into José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) in Rionegro, you will need to take ground transport to Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH). The trip can take up to an hour in normal traffic.
